Come on Instagram, end this nipple ban silliness!

I thought we were all taught that you should never point a finger at someone. I guess I was wrong for the whole time.
Photo sharing conglomerate, or for most better know as Instagram, finally “revealed” why the nipple ban. To everyone’s (Twitter users especially) surprise, they say it is due to Apple. Of course they (Facebook) don’t have anything to do with it.
According to IG’s CEO Kevin Systrom, Apple’s App Store has strict policies when it comes to nudity that all apps need to follow. Apps are “only” allowed explicit content if they are rated 17+. Unfortunately, Instagram is rated 12+ and full of early teens who are not into nudity. I mean nipples. I mean, female nipples, because everyone is perfectly fine with male nipples. Even if girl’s nipples are photoshopped with man’s nipples. Yes, yes, I know, things are complicated. We all know this nipple ban is a bunch of baloney.
Let’s take Twitter for example. This tweeting app with approx 300 million monthly active users is rated 4+ in Apple’s App Store. What do you find on Twitter? Nudity. Like a whole lot of nudity. Not only fully naked men and women, but like a gazillion of men and women having an intercourse. With other words, pornography – uncensored, of course. If you spend a few moments on Twitter, browsing and searching for “stuff,” you will quickly notice how open-minded this social media platform is. These guys never heard for a term “nipple ban” before. And you, me and the whole wide world hope it stays in this fashion forever. No, I am not saying that non-adults should be allowed watching pornography. Far from it, and if you are bellow 18 and reading this, please leave PornTube immediately! I mean it.

No one said we need porn on Instagram, we only ask for nipple ban to end. Why oh why did photos of Chrissy Teigen, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and others who posted their nipples needed to vanish from Instagram?
Let’s all follow Lina Esco’s “Free The Nipple” campaign and end this silliness once and for all.
