Originally launched in 2009, Lovehoney brought back their famous “Design A Sex Toy Competition” for 2015, which can win you some serious money. A bit of kinky imagination and a bit of luck and maybe it is you who will be the lucky winner.
Before we share more details about Lovehoney’s competion, let first talk about the 2009 winner. His name is Trevor Murphy and he designed an amazing (revolutionary?) oral sex toy that girls around the globe went crazy for. You may heard for it before, it is called Sqweel Oral Sex Simulator and it earned him more than 100 thousand pounds in royalties to date. Now, when we mentioned a nice stack of money, you got even more interested, right?
There are three categories that you can enter, sex toy for men, for women and for couples. You get three chances to win, meaning you can enter one idea per category. Winner of each category will win on thousand pounds in cash and the Judges’ Pick will receive an extra two thousand. In total five thousand pounds prize money.
“Design A Sex Toy Competition” by Lovehoney does not end here. The overall winner of the competition will also get a chance to bring his idea to reality. What this means is that the winning idea can actually be made into a real sex toy and sold to customers around the world, just like Trevor’s Sqweel Simulator. What follows is you earning royalties in the future (100 grand is not a band money!).
Judges for this year’s version of the comp will be: founder of brands Lelo and Tickler, Erik Kalen and Lovehoney’s product director, online trading manager and operations manager, Bonny Hall, Alice Little and Paul Jaques.
