I am not proud to say that I attended a bullfight in Valencia, Spain about five or so years ago. Damn this thing was nasty and the crowd, they were full of excitement and were cheering like maniacs. I wanted it to end early, but no, this shit lasted for more than two hours. Being a proud meat eater, I am hardly against bullfights. I still remember bulls’ dying groans.
A little while back, Swedish pornstar Amina Axelsson, who is a vegan and PETA activist, jumped in the ring to stop a bullfight in Malaga, Spain. First of all, this chick has way bigger balls than you. And secondly, she might be one of the most courageous adult actresses out there. Moreover, Amina told The Dodo that this was her first ever protest. She said, “I was really nervous. I was shaking. I was crying.” Who wouldn’t be in this state after jumping the fence of Marbella bullring to help a young, dying bull. She was caught early and couldn’t even properly raise the “No More Bullfighting” sign in Spanish. All men in the ring were rough and furious said pornstar Amina Axelsson and things calmed down only when the police came. It turned out, policeman was very nice to her since he, too, is against bullfights.
As for the popularity of bullfights, you can see from the video above that it is decreasing rapidly. There literally aren’t any folks in comparison to what I witnessed 5 years ago. Back then ring was crowded with people of all ages, from early teens to old farts. I don’t remember correctly but I believe there were even toddlers. I tell you, it was insane.
Even if pornstar Amina Axelsson’s bullfight protest experience was very stressful and tense, she will not stop the tradition.
